I moved to Linda Hotel after my official part of the trip to Istanbul- from the 4-stars' Hotel Mim Hotel. Surprise! The difference between Linda Hotel and the 4-stars' hotel was not very big!!!!! I felt very comfortable. The room was very good, equipped just to the extend that I wished. The breakfast terassa was the best one- I couldn't leave it for a while, smoking in fresh air and enjoying the sea-sight. In other hotels that also promised the sea-side and wonderful views, the view of the sea itself was being closed by other higher buildings or spoiled by ugly roofs. In Linda Hotel the promise became true- I enjoyed it very much! The room size was also very good, not that small as in the budget hotels. Frankly, before this time I didn't want to give any feedback about my previous hotels where I stayed. But in case of Linda Hotel- I give my feedback with pleasure. Ah! I forgot to mention- the breakfast was very good, and pleasantly surprised me with a great variety of served dishes!!! I wish to stay in Linda Hotel next time if I ever appear in Istanbul. Thank you, dear Linda Hotel staff! With best wishes from Tajikistan.
The only small thing that I wish to mention is- it seems that the hotel personnel do not make a handover when they rotate. Thus, I had to remind to each "newly" officer on duty about my taxi to the Airport. And still on my dearture evening, the duty manager needed a reminder from me, as the previous one didn't inform him (also it is strange, because in my booking order I mentioned about the taxi to the Airport especially). Otherwise everything was great!

Friendly nice staff, tasty breakfast, warm bed linen and cleen towels every day. Great position in the middle of touristic area, with lot of local sellers around. Tram (t1) stop (Beyazit) is about 200m far away, transport from/to the airport (Attatürk) reachable for 3,5 tl (by underground + tram, ca. 45Mins).
Small room (no space for put the suitcase off), almost no storage space, only 2 shelves in the wardrobe. Little bit dusty shelves, somebody else's hair in the shower :-(. Quite hard reachable with wheeld-suit case (down/uphill & cobblestones).

The location was excellent, being only minutes away from the Grand Bazaar. The service was fine, the staff were efficient and accommodating, however the rooms were very small for the price, even by city centre standards. The tour group that we were joining the next day used the hotel as a base, hence why we booked the extra pre-tour night tour. Otherwise I would not stay there as there are better hotels nearby which are better value.
